The Najuta CMD Thoracic Stentgraft System

The Najuta CMD Thoracic Stentgraft System (SB-Kawasumi Laboratories, Inc, Kanagawa, Japan) is a fenestrated custom made endograft that offers a remarkable solution to repair aortic aneurysm at distal arch and descending aorta, B-type dissection and PAU. Najuta stent graft has a variety of three-dimensional structures, which enables to provide a suitable stent graft matching with a patient’s anatomy of the aorta. The graft is individually crafted using a three-dimensional CTA assessment to properly fit patients’ aortic anatomy. It is made of five stainless steel stents sutured to three layered PTFE only at both ends. Pre-shaped structuring prevents mal-sealing adhesion on lesser curvature (Bird Beak). Najuta has single or multiple fenestrations created along its greater curvature to secure blood supply via the arch vessels. It enables to obtain enough sealing / landing zone and enlarge applicable zone on lesser curvature where aneurysms often occur. The delivery system comes with four possible pre-curved configurations allowing easy positioning and accurate fenestrations self-orientation at the supra-aortic arteries ostia. Fenestrations are meant for preserving target vessel perfusion without the need to place additional covered or uncovered stents. Product availability varies by country.
