Information

Crossing through Chronic Total Occlusions (CTO) is often the most challenging part when treating heavily calcified lesions. The BeBack crossing catheter is a low profile support catheter that has a crossing and targeted re-entry capability due to the steerable Nitinol needle at the tip. A radiopaque marker indicates the direction in which the curved needle protrudes from the tip of the catheter. Multiple options like antegrade and retrograde lesion access as well as crossover manoeuvres are possible with the BeBack catheter, which is indicated for intraluminal and sub-intimal approach of stenotic or occluded lesions. This makes the BeBack crossing catheter with either 0.14" (2.9F) or 0.18" (4.0F) wire compatibility an effective solution for peripheral re-canalisation procedures. The BeBack crossing catheter is currently not available in the US.
